Meeting The Gas Safety Regulations 1998 can be a constant challenge with a variety of ages, condition and types of installation. Keeping systems safe and serviceable is key to your business operation, but equally important is ensuring you have full documentation and records to prove it – this is critical to demonstrating you are legal and compliant.
Using our own GasSafe registered engineers and working to regulations and approved codes of practice, we offer a dedicated service, providing rigorous testing, servicing and maintenance regimes supported by fully compliant and auditable reports. Our service can incorporate one or all of the aspects below.
It is essential to have all of your gas appliances checked annually for safe operation and to reduce the risk of escapes, leaks or carbon monoxide build-up or poisoning – which can lead to damage or even fatalities caused by faulty or poorly maintained appliances. Having your equipment gas safety checked annually is not only a legal requirement but will also improve the efficiency and performance of your appliance and possibly reduce your energy consumption.
Once one of our Gas Safe Registered engineers has carried out a gas safety inspection on your appliance(s), we will issue you with a Gas Safety Certificate (Record) which explains the checks carried out, and/or any remedial work required or completed, to bring it up to the correct safety standards.
Whilst a gas safety check assesses the basic safety or your gas appliance, a service will involve a more comprehensive assessment and full check of the operation of the equipment. Appliances should be serviced regularly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, which will prolong their useful life and ensure that they perform efficiently as designed.
The engineer will assess the physical condition of the appliance, installation of pipework, air vents and any flues for wear, damage or deterioration. We will also carry out performance tests and carry out or recommend any remedial works that may improve its efficiency.
Our Gas Safe Registered engineers are located throughout the UK and have the resources, knowledge and expertise to ensure that they can cover all your maintenance and repairs requirements, whatever time they occur – day or night. Utilising our 24 hour call centre and our advanced logistical and task management systems, we can track and manage your requests; giving you real time information on ETAs, SLAs and KPIs – ensuring you get the full service you need from your property partner.
